Michael has been involved in International Corporate Real Estate since 1990 when he formed the corporate real estate group at Jones Lang Wootton, now Jones Lang LaSalle in London. Michael moved to the US to head up Jones Lang Wooton, where he increased sales over a five year period from £26m per annum to £81m per annum. Michael has spent time as Consultant Head of Group Property at British Telecom and executed a critique of the UK Ministry of Defence' real estate portfolio for the Minister. Furthermore, he spent 10 years from 1999 to 2009 as President of Cresa Partners, one of the US's leading corporate real estate service providers based in New York City.

Michael joined the Legacy team in early 2011 to advise and develop the business from New York.
